May 5, 2022: I received the Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award from Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the University at Albany, SUNY for my dissertation "Economic sanctions and opportunism."

November 17, 2021: I successfully defended my dissertation! #PhDone!

November 9, 2021:My first solo-authored policy work is out at War on the Rocks where I discuss the Biden Administration's sanctions review.

October 13, 2021: I will be presenting a paper from my dissertation on arms embargoes at a workshop in Florence, Italy entitled "International (unilateral) sanctions in a multidisciplinary perspective: legal, economic-financial and political implications" at the Università di Firenze in December 2021.

September 20, 2021: A report I co-authored with Kolja Brockmann at SIPRI is out today! It discusses the overlapping sanctions environment on Iran and how the EU can better mitigate the humanitarian impacts of economic sanctions.
