March 19, 2024: My book with Charmaine N. Willis, Trading with Pariahs: Trade Networks and the Failure of Economic Sanctions, is available for pre-order and will be published by Lexington Books in August 2024.
February 29, 2024: Check out this article that Charmaine N. Willis and I wrote for The Conversation (US) on how Russia has been successful at weathering economic sanctions against it for its invasion of Ukraine with the war now in its third year.

January 18, 2024: Check out this volume edited by Morad Bali (Duke) and published by Nova Science, which features a chapter (Chapter 4, to be precise) that Bryan Early and I wrote on self-sanctioning by firms in response to the Russian sanctions.

August 4, 2023: A paper I co-write with Bryan Early, “Enforcing Economic Sanctions by Tarnishing Corporate Reputations,” has been accepted for publication with Business and Politics. It is open access and can be freely downloaded.

July 6, 2022: I am pleased to announce that I will be joining Miami University in Oxford, OH as a visiting assistant professor in political science during this upcoming academic year (AY 2022-23).
May 5, 2022: I received the Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award from Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the University at Albany, SUNY for my dissertation "Economic sanctions and opportunism."
